"Kimi ga Iru" is the nineteenth single released by ikimono-gakari. The title track was used as the theme song for the second season of the drama Hotaru no Hikari, which, coincidentally, shares the same name as the band's fourteenth single. It is also their first A-side not written by leader Mizuno Yoshiki, but instead, main vocalist Yoshioka Kiyoe. The first press of the single came with "ikimono card 020" and a "Kimi ga Iru" summer sticker (source: jpopstop).
